Our Range of Bamboo Bandage

The load on our environment is very heavy and we need to conform. We are actively promoting more sustainable materials and one step forward is choosing bamboo as a new and improved material for our tubular bandages.

Demand for bandages in other material than cotton has increased. We have discovered that bamboo fibre makes the perfect bandage, both for you and our planet.

  • ANTIBACTERIAL PROPERTIES

    The antibacterial properties of bamboo are the most profound reason that bamboo grows so rapidly in nature. Because bamboo has an inherit natural barricade against bacteria, most varieties of bacteria and bugs that attempt to thrive on the bamboo plant are eradicated naturally on contact. Bamboo is one of the rare plants that can survive all that nature can throw at it.

  • LONG-TERM FRESHNESS

    Fabrics made using bamboo offer excellent ventilation thanks to the microscopic holes in bamboo fibres. This is why bamboo keeps you feeling fresh and dry significantly longer. Bamboo also has a structure that repels moisture, meaning it wicks away moisture quickly.



  • WONDERFULLY SOFT

    Another great advantage is the unparalleled softness of bamboo textiles and the excellent comfort offered. The smooth and round structure of the bamboo fibre is the secret behind this fantastic property. This structure has no sharp or rough elements that irritate the skin and therefore feels wonderfully soft against the skin.

  • EXCELLENT HEAT REGULATION

    Bamboo fabrics have several insulating properties that influence heat exchange. In warm weather, bamboo fabrics feel fresh while also providing added protection against the chill of a cold day.




  • ECO-FRIENDLY

    It is grown with little or no pesticides or chemical fertilizers. It requires no irrigation. It rarely needs replanting. It grows rapidly and can be harvested in 3-5 years. It produces more oxygen that an equivalent stand of trees. It is a critical element in the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Danafast DS

MEDIPLAST can offer DANAFAST Double Stretch, a tube-shaped elastic bandage that stretches both in length and width and thus is easy to lay. Cut to any length and apply single or double. Can be used without tape or other fixation, which provides a smooth and comfortable dressing. Good air permeability. Interwoven color code, which makes it easier to choose size.

Danagrip

MEDIPLAST offers DANAGRIP, an elastic support and fixation bandage with compression effect. Holes and gashes can be cut out. Can be used in single or double layers depending on desired compression. Good aeration. Very good elasticity, can be stretched 3 times its original width. The bandages are available in four different materials, unbleached cotton, bleached cotton, viscose and bamboo.
